Rock and Roll

March 11, 2010

Oh Creative One! I appreciate classical Grecian sculpture. I love that they had exact proportions for beauty. I found it inspiring to look at a realistic painting from the atelier classes at the Gage Academy in Seattle.

Observant Creative One. My daughter dances like her Uncle Bret by sticking her tongue out, holding up her fingers, and nodding her head like a hard core Ozzy Osbourne fan. In truth, Uncle Bret is a hard core musician whose dance skills we’ve never, ever seen. But, this impersonation is how she sees Uncle Bret. It is her vision whether or not it is “real” according to Grecian, atelier, or Uncle Bret’s standards. I respect and am inspired by standards, but I am even more interested in your interpretation of these standards.
